Having ventured into new territory more than 30 years ago, Galerie Elena Lee ardently continues to represent contemporary glass art. Keeping within a distinct aesthetic direction, the gallery has explored different avenues, exhibiting both Canadian and International artists, some working strictly in glass, others incorporating metal, wood and found materials. Today the gallery represents over 60 artists and artisans whose works evoke messages as diverse as the techniques used to create them. These artists paint a clear picture of the vitality and distinctiveness of contemporary glass.
For over seven years I was involved in every aspect of the goings-on at the gallery, be they packing and shipping works, exporting works and exhibiting them at international fairs, upkeep of the gallery's website, photographing works, mounting of exhibitions, etc.
